# Chapin Labor Day Weekend Celebration Starts Saturday

Chapin’s annual Labor Day celebration begins Saturday, Sept. 5, and continues through Monday, Sept. 7, with a 5K, live music, food and a parade.

This year’s theme is “Stars, Stripes and Service: Celebrating 250 Years.” The weekend centers on community activities in and around downtown Chapin.

The weekend schedule includes the 5K, live music, local food and a parade for residents and visitors.

Residents, visitors, businesses and community groups can take part in the holiday weekend as Chapin marks the nation’s 250th anniversary year.
