## Unconventional Financial Literacy at Pelion High

Students at Pelion High School in Lexington County, South Carolina, recently received an unconventional lesson in money management. The non-profit organization Funding the Future brought touring artist GOODING to the school for a live concert, blending music with financial education.

During the event, students learned about various aspects of financial literacy, including budgeting, building credit, avoiding debt, and planning for their financial futures, all while enjoying the music. Pelion student Keileigh Van Buren described the experience as an educational surprise, noting that she learned about the importance of saving money.

Performer GOODING expressed his enjoyment in performing to help students, stating that he uses his platform to make a positive impact.
