PIEDMONT, S.C. — The Chapin girls volleyball team takes its playoff run to Piedmont on Monday, Oct. 26, facing top-seeded Woodmont at 6 p.m. in the second round of the Class 5A Upper State bracket.

Chapin, seeded eighth, earned the trip with a 3-1 home win over ninth-seeded Byrnes in Wednesday’s opening round. The Eagles took the first set 25-18, dropped the second 22-25, then closed it out 25-18 and 25-20 for their second straight victory.
