GREEN BAY, Wis. — Jordan Love and an opportunistic Green Bay defense handed the Dallas Cowboys another loss Sunday night, as the Packers won 23-13 at Lambeau Field and pushed Dallas to 2-4.

Love went 23 of 41 for 276 yards. His lone touchdown pass went to Matthew Golden, who caught six balls for a game-high 104 yards but also let two likely scoring catches slip away, one of which left Green Bay settling for a field goal. Dallas pressured Love on a majority of his 44 dropbacks, yet he still hit 11 of 19 throws while under pressure.

The Packers defense, which came in with nine takeaways, intercepted Dak Prescott twice. Prescott threw 54 times and completed 34, and the Cowboys failed on a fourth-and-11 late in the game when his pass sailed out of the end zone with Dallas trailing 23-7. He later capped a 13-play, 78-yard drive with a touchdown throw on the run to make it 23-13 with 44 seconds left.

Dallas linebacker Dee Winters got the Cowboys their first interception of the season early in the first half, making Dallas the last NFL team to record one. Even so, the offense has managed just 29 points across its last two games, and Prescott has four interceptions against two touchdowns in that span after an eight-to-one start through four games. It is the worst six-game record for Dallas since 2020, and Dallas has just one win and one tie to show for its last 13 games against Green Bay.

Green Bay has won three straight after a rough opening three weeks and sits at 4-2, level with Chicago, while unbeaten Minnesota and Detroit had the week off. The NFC East has gone the other way. With the Giants and Eagles also losing Sunday, the Washington Commanders, last in the division at 1-3-1, are the only East team left with a chance to win this week when they visit the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. All four East teams have been outscored this season, the only division where that is true.
